WHAKATANE WINTER SHOW
THE INAUGURAL FIXTURE. [[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHAKATANE, Tuesday. Preparations are now complete for the holding of the first Bay of Plenty winter show at Whakatana, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday next. Over 1000 entries have been received, and a very fine display of produce, motor-cars and trade exhibits is promised. Tho show, which will bo opened by the Hon. K. S. Williams, will be held in the wharf sheda and f.everal marquees that havo been erected. A programme for the entertainment of visitors has been arranged for the three days.
