CONCERT FOR SEAMEN.
Sailors and visitors at the Mission to Seamen's Institute were entertained last evening by a musical programme arranged by Mrs. Newbury. Instrumental numbers were given by Mrs. Newbury and Messrs. L. Turtle, H. Cocker and G. H. Jones. Songs were contributed by Miss Shaw and Messrs. S. Hamlin and L. Turtle, violin solos by Mr. G. Jor.es and flute and piccolo solos by Mr. H. Cocker. Elocutionary items by Miss T. Shaw and Captain Adams completed the set programme, which was supplemented by choruses by the company. Mrs. H. T. Newbury was accompanist. The chaplain., the Rev. H. K. Yickery, presided.
