CHURCH BROADCASTING.
THE AUCKLAND COMMITTEE. The Auckland Church Wireless Committee met on Monday, the chairman, Air. S. J. Hayden, presiding. It was reported the Roman Catholic Church and the Salvation Army had been invited to apply for broadcast of services and to havo representation on the committee. The former had replied that representation was not at present desired, while the latter had written stating that only special services would require broadcasting. It was decided to recommend to the Broadcasting Company that one Sunday afternoon broadcast should be allotted to the International Bible Students' Association, subject to the assurance that no matter of a controversial nature would be introduced. An application for broadcasts from the United Evangelical Mission was deferred pending further inquiry.
