DANCING.
The usual excellent facilities will be offered patrons of Dixieland Cabaret this evening, when dancing will be continued until midnight. Clyde Howley's popular Internationals Orchestra will play the latest dance music. On Wednesday evening a special gala, " A Night in the Orient," will be held, when cabaret items will be given by a Chinese ballet. A feature of the entertainment will be unique colouring and dazzling lighting efforts. The Auckland Retail Shop Assistants' Charity Club will hold its weekly dance in Scots Hall this evening. Music will be provided by Edgar Kendall's Jazz Rand. These dances, the proceeds of which are divided between well-known city charitable institutions, are always well patronised and prove very popular.
