TRAFFIC IN BRITAIN.
MOTOR VEHICLES INCREASE. (Received May 7, 5.29 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY. May 6. A return issued by the Ministry of Transport gives particulars of the gross receipts from the taxation of road vehicles for tho three months ended February 29. The gross amount received for licences exceeded £15,500,000 in the three months. More than 60,000 motor vehicles were registered for tho first time.
