TE AWAMUTU ORPHANS.
[BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT. 1 TE AWAMUTT.T, Monday. The annual meeting of the Te Awamutu Orphans' Club was well attended. Last year's president, Bro. A. A. Reese, presided. The report of last season's work showed a membership of 130, and that a keen interest was maintained. Tha statement of finances showed a small credit balance. The election of officers rosulted : —Patron, Bro D. Stewart Reid, AI.P.; president, Bro. L. J. Whittington; vicepresidents, Bros. H. Y Collins, A. Bo;,d, J. B. Wilson; secretary, Bro. A. A. Chittenden ; treasurer, Bro. S. Riddell; committee, Bros S. Clark, R. Laurie, 11. Andrew, G. F. '"Smith, W. Jones, R. Ross and E. Raine; chief steward, Bro. C. A. Finch; accompanist, Bro. A. J. Sinclair. It was decided to open the season on Saturday, May 19.
