TERRITORIALS AT PAEROA.
PERIOD UNDER CANVAS ENDS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] PAEROA, Monday. The First Battalion of the Hauraki Regiment concluded a casual camp at the Paeroa racecourse to-day. The camp commandant was Major E. A. Porritt, with Lieut. V. J. Innes as adjutant, and Lieut. E. J. Browning as assistant-ad-jutant. The camp, which was successfully conducted under unfavourable weather conditions, was visited bv Colonel H. R. Potter, Officer Commanding the Northern Command, and Colonel J. E. Duigan. Both officers praised the steadiness and soldierly appearance of all ranks on parade.
