RACING IN IRELAND.
TOTALISATOR LICENSED. STATEMENT IN PARLIAMENT. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received May 6, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 5. The Irish State Minister of Finance, Mr. E. Blythe, announced in the Dail that licences would shortly be granted to the Irish Turf Club and to the National Hunt Steeplechase Committee for the establishment of totalisators op certain racecourses.
