CAPTAIN KETTLE.
Who was tho original Captain Kettle, made famous by the rousing yarns of Mr. Cutcliffo Hyne ? Hundreds of men who resemble tho famous seafaring character have written to tho author telling hnn they wore the original of the captain, but Mr. Hyne confessed recently that there is no original. He invented the fiery captain when he was getting married in order to make money to pay for his furniture.
