AUCKLAND ACCIDENTS.
INJURY TO SLAUGHTERMAN. WOMAN STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR. As the result of falling on his knife, Air. Samuel Boden, employed as a slaughterman at the Westfield Freezing Works, sustained a severe laceration of the thigh at noon yesterday. He slipped on the concrete floor of the slaughterhouse and his knife fell from the sheath. The injured man was brought to the Auckland Hospital by the St, John Ambulance. His condition is not serious.
Suffering from abrasions as the result of being struck by a motor-car in "Victoria Avenue, Mrs. M. A. Anstiss, a widow, aged 60, was admitted to the hospital shortly before 8 o'clock last evening. Her condition was later reported to be satisfactory.
