LICENSING AUTHORITY.
BIRKENHEAD BUS SERVICE.
Sitting as the No. 2 District Licensing Authority, the Devonport. Borough Council last evening agreed to the application of Messrs. L. H. Lyach and T. E. Halliday for a licence for a Birkenhead motorbus service. The surrender of the interests of Mr. W. B. Watson in the licence for the same service issued to Messrs. Lynch and Watson was agreed to. Messrs. Lovett and Silich were granted a licence for a bus service to Brown's Bay. The traffic inspector was authorised to take action in cases of the overloading of the buses outside tho limits of the corticate issued.
