PARISHIONERS MEET.
ALL SAINTS', PONSONBY. The annual meeting of parishioners of All Saints' Church, Ponsonby, was held last evening, the vicar, Rev. W. W. Averill, presiding. The annual report stated that the services had been well attended during the year. The sick and poor fund had been well maintained, the sum of £SB standing to its credit. During the year £47 10s had been expended for relief purposes. The receipts from the envelope fund had been £97, a considerable decrease on last year's figures, while the freewill fund was also decreasing year by year. This year only £147 had been donated, against the sum of £289 received last year. The church building fund now stands at £5670.
A queen carnival is to be held to assist the parish funds. The election of officers resulted: — Churchwardens, Mr. C. Morley (people's) and Mr. C. F. Bennett (vicar's); vestry., Mrs. Palmer, Mrs. C. F. Bennett, Mr. J. 11. West, Mr. W. J. Hunter, Mr. M. J. Bennett, Mr. Blackman, Mr. Rmytheman, Mr. E. Smith, Mr. Corringham and Mr. W. Manning.
