AUCKLAND METHODISTS.
MINISTERS INDUCTED. An induction service and welcome to the Rev. Arthur Mitchell and the Rev. Norman P. Larsen, the two new ministers recently appointed by the Methodist Conference to the Auckland West Methodist circuit, was held at St. John's Church, Ponsonby, this week. The induction service was conducted by the Rev. Dr. C, H. Laws, assisted by the Rev. W. A. Sinclair.
The welcome social, following immediately after the induction service, was held in the schoolroom, which was filled to overflowing, and speeches of welcome "were made by representatives of the various churches in the circuit. The Rev. Hes* lop, of All Saints' Church, and the RevFrazer Barton, of St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church, also spoke.
