SERIOUS CHARGE MADE.
DOCTOR IN THE COURT. COMMITTAL FOR TRIAL. [I!X TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT, j WELLINGTON. Monday. A charge of having unlawfully used an instrument on a woman was preferred against Joseph Patrick Hennessy, medical practitioner, of Wellington, in the Magistrate's Court to-day. Accused pleaded not guilty, reserved his defence and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was allowed on £250, and one surety of £250.
