OSTEND ROAD BOARD.
ELECTION OF MEMBERS. An election will be held on Thursday, May 3, to fill three vacancies on the Ostend Road Board. The three retiring members, Mr. L. Arnoldson. Mr. M. C. Cleland, and Mr. H. W. Williams, are all offering themselves for re-election, while Mr. Ernest. Griffiths will also be a candidate. Polling will take place at Whifaker's Hall, Putiki, Waiheke, and at the board's offices in the National Mutual Life Buildings, Shortland Street, city. The hours of voting will be between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
