WEDDINGS.

The wedding was celebrated in St.. Paul's Pro-Cathedral, Wellington, on Wednesday afternoon, of Constance, elder daughter of Mrs. M. A. Le Grove, of Kelbarn, and the late Mr. Lo Grove to Lealand Charles, only son of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Craythorne, of Matareka Homestead, Kaituna Valley, Canterbury. Archdeacon Johnson, an old friend of the bride's family, performed the ceremony. Mr. E. Le Grove gave his sister away, and the bridesmaids were her sister, Miss Etta Le Grove arid Miss Leone Craythorne. In attendance upon the bridegroom were Mr. J. Law lor, of Christchurch, and Mr. Ivan Bliatchford, of Teddington, Canterbury.

The marriage of Isobel, youngest daughter of Mr .and Mrs. W. W. B, Parkinson, of Opotiki, t-o Mr. John Shaw, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Jamos Shaw, of Matangi, was celebrated bv the Rev. J. E. Draper in St. Stephen's Church, Opotiki, on Wednesday. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. William Parkinson, in the unavoidable absence of her father, and wore a frock of sheil pink satin and georgette finished with a diamante buckle. Her tulle veil was embroidered in silver and was held in place with a wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of pink Michaelmas daisies and white cosmos. The bridesmaids were Miss Jessie Lord, who wore apple green crepe cle chine with pink shoulder, posy, aad Miss Ada Johnson, in mauve brepe aa chine with green shoulder posy. The veil of Honiton lace was caught to the head with a wreath of orange blossom and fell over a graceful train of ivory embossed georgette lined with shell pink, which was suspended from the shoulders.. St. Luke's Church, Mount Albert, .was the scene of the wedding on Monday, afternoon, of Miss Breta Beck, younger daughter the Rev. A. J. Beck and Mrs. Beck, of St. Luke's Vicarage, Mount Albert; to Mr. Malcolm Cart Astley. of Dargaville, only-' son of Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Astley,; of Mount Albert. The veil, which formed a long train, was of Brussels Jape, and was arranged on the head with a spray of orange blossom. A shower lkmquet of white cactus dahlias and carnations was carried. Mrs. C. J. Garlknd was matron of honour and Miss Cicely Astley and Miss Joyce Littleproud were bridesmaids. All worn period frocks of turquoise blue taffeta, made with tight, bodices attached to bouffant ski-ts hemmed with silver lace. Picture hats of silver lame veiled with pink tnlte, were worn, and bouquets of pink dahlias were carried, Mr. D. Ross was best man, Mr. T« Wood and Mr. Beck were groomsman, and Mr. Lloyd Astley and Mr. J. B;}ck were ushers.

The marriage of Miss Muri Fchischka, da,lighter of Mr. and Sirs. J. Schisshka, of Shelly Beach Road, Kerne Bay. to Mr. Harold Parkinson, eldest son of Mr. and Airs. W. Parkinson, of Salisbury Street, Hcrno Bay, was celerated in St. Matthew's Church last evening. The Rev. Drummond performed the ceremony. The bride, who entered t'tie church oil the arm of her father, wore a frock of cream georgette with the skirt dipping at-, tba back and a deep hem and yoke ©f gold lace. A circlet of gold leaves and orainga blossom held in place the tulle veil, which was embroidered with gold thread, and a bouquet of cream roses and carnations was carried. Mitts Mione Schischka,, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, .'and wore an ankle-length frock of deep primrose ring velvet, with a full skirt p{ frilled silk net. A small tulle veil formed the bridesmaid's head dress and sha carried a bouquet of flowers to tone. .
