STATE SAWMILL WORKERS.
STAFF AT FRANKTON MILL
NO FURTHER REDUCTION IN VIEW [Hi* TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.) HAMILTON. Tuesday. Inquiries made at the State sawmill and house factory at Frankton Junction show that about three weeks ago about 11 men were discharged from the sawmill. Since then there has been no reduction in the number of men employed at either the mill or factory, and no advice ha„ been received authorising the discharge of further men in the near future. As far as is known at Frankton there is no intention to discharge men employed in the Government bushes in the King Country.
