(Received April 17. 6.25 p.m.) NEW YORK, April 16, At the Socialist Convention to-day Mr. Norman Thomas, of New York, was nominated as the party's candidate for the Presidency, and Mr. James Maurer, of Reading, Pennsylvania, for the VicePresidency.
