SHIPS SOLD TO ITALY.
OTARAMA AND PORT HACKING (Received March 9, 5,5 p.m.) A. and N.Z. LONDON, March 9. The steamers Otarama and Port Hacking have been sold to Italian purchasers. The Otarama was built in 1912 by Russell and Company, of Glasgow, for the New Zealand Shipping Company. She is of 7753 tons, and 454 ft. long. Her former name was Ajana. The Port "Hacking was built in 1900 by Workman, Clark and Company, of Belfast, for the Commonwealth and Dominion Line. She is of 6225 tons, with refrigerating machinery. '
