ALLEGED MURDER CASE.
JURY LOCKED UP FOR NIGHT.
TRIAL OF RONALD GRIGGS. (Received March 10, 12.60 a.m.) A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE, March 9. The jury in the trial at Sale, Gippsland, of Ronald Griggs, Methodist Church probationer, on a charge of murdering his wife, after several hours' retirement returned tq the Court. The foreman announced that they bad apparently reached a deadlock and there was no chance of them reaching an agreement. The jury were locked up for the night.
