The closing season has already been productive of some fine sport, three new world's records being established as follow:—Lord Gnmthorpe s mako shark, 6301b.; Mr. H. White-Wickham s thresher shark, 8321b„ and broadbill || swordfish, 6731b. The thresher shark record had been previously broken earlier in the season by Mr. Stanley Ellis, with a catch of 6V/Ib. ~ . ,
