SECONDARY SCHOOLS MATCH. The first elevens of the Takapuna Grammar School and the Rotorua High School played their first annual match on "the Deyonport Domain yesterday. The senior wicket was used for the game and was in excellent condition. Takapuna Won on the first innings by 157 runs. It compiled 238, of which W. Macindoe made. 106. Following are the scores:—Takatouna: First innings, 238 (W. Macindoe 106, Dunce 32, A. Macindoe 29, Foster 21). . Matthews took seven wicket;? for 74 runs. • Rotorua: First innings, 81 (Hinton 29). O'Brien took six wicliiets for S5 and W. Macindoe four for 24. Rotorua: Second innings, 37 for two wickets (Ryder 24 not out).
