GRIGGS GIVES EVIDENCE.
UNHAPPY DOMESTIC LIFE.
(Received March 8, 10.5!> p.m.) A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE, March 8. The hearing of evidence at the trial of Ronald Griggs, the Methodist Church probationer who is charged with murdering his wife, Ethel, at Omeo, in January, was concluded to-day at Sale, in Gippsland.
The accused, under cross-examination, admitted that his domestic relations were strained, and said his wifo had asked him to allow her to get a divorce. Ho denied that he bad had any hand or part in bringing about her death.
