EXPENDITURE IN AMERIGA.
£45,000,000, LAST YEAR.
(Receb ed March 8, 5.20 p.m.) and N.Z. NEW YORK, March 7. The advertising bureau of the American Newspaper Publishers' Association states that American advertisers expended £45.000,000 on newspaper advertising in 1927. The list of groups of advertisers was headed by the motor-car industry, with 57 companies, which spent an aggregate sum of £7,101,000.
