WAiUKU CLUB'S AFFAIRS. The annual general meeting of the Waiuku Golf Club was held thia week. The report and balance-sheet allowed a credit balance of £3 8s lid on the season's working. This was considered credftable. seeing that a debit balance of about £l3 was carried forward from the previous year. The inclement weather marred the success of the season, but a large number of matches were played. The senior championship was won by Dr. Porritt and the junior by M. Aldred. A. Christianson was the winner of the match play handicap. Mrs. Christianson won the ladies' championship and also the handicap match play. In the Franklin County championship Dr. Porritt and Miss A. Neil, both of Waiuku, were successful. Waiuku'also won the Roulston banner for the team's match. The election of oSicers resulted;— President, Mr. A. White; captain, Mr. W. S. The opening day was fixed for Saturday, March 17. PUKEKOHE CLUB'S YEAR. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] PUKEKOHE. Thursday. The annual meeting of the Pukekohe Golf Club was held last evening, Mr. J. N. Anderson presiding over id attendance, of about 25 members. The executive committee's report stated that last season was probably the most eventful in the history of the club, new links having been established. A number of difficulties had to be overcome, but aB now laid out the club's links comprised a very fine nine-hole course. The club fixtures during the season were keenly contested throughout, and some very interesting eames took place. In inter-club nlay Pukekohe had held its own satisfactorily.

The balance-sheet showed assets totalling .£lO4 10s Ild and liabilities £SG 17a 2d. Tho election of officers resulted:—President. Mr. J. Roulston; vice-presidents. Dr. A. T. Begg and Dr. J. McWhirter; club cantain. Mr. W, G. Broanahan; vice-cap-tain, Mr. C. G. Johnson; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. J. Short; match secretary. Mr. E. Maddison; executive committee, Messrs. W. M. S. Hood. T.* J. Lilly. Maddison. Anderson and H. E. Kisglinr: match committee. Messrs. Brosnahan. Maddison. and Johnson and two lady members to be elected bv th« ladies' division of the club; auditor. Mr. M.
