PRESENTATIONS.
At the sitting of the Raetibi Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, Constable A. McCowan, who has been promoters to the charge of the Mount Albert Police Station, Auckland, was presented with a handsome fountain pen as a. token of the esteem in which he was held by members of the Bar. In making the presentation, Mr. R. M. Watson, S.M., referred to the splendid manner in which Constable McCowan had performed his duties during his association with ,tlie Court during the past, six years. A gathering representative of business men, the legal profession, sports bodies and oublio bodies, also met to wish Constable McCowan farewell. During the evening the Mayor presented Constable McCowan with a set of carvers. .* ° .
