MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
The Hon. F. J. Rolleston, Minister of Justice, accompanied by Dr. T. G. Gray, Inspector-General of Mental Hospitals, and Mr. B. L. Dallard, controller of prisons, arrived at Te Kuiti on Wednesday on their way from Waikeria. Yesterday the Minister received a deputation from the Te Kuiti Racing Club, when several matters concerning the club were discussed. A deputation representing the local Patriotic Society and Returned Soldiers' Association asked that a medical officer be appointed in the district to represent the Pensions Department in order to deal with emergency cases of disabled returned men. . The Minister was sympathetic in the matter, and said he would consider the question oh his return to Wellington.
