Dr. A. B. Fitt, Professor of Education at Auckland University College, who has bcten on a. year's visit to th® United States, returned by the Niagara from Vancouver yesterday. Captain L. M. Isifct, of Christchurch, who has been undergoing a course in flying jn England, returned to Auckland by the Niagara from Vancouver-yesterday. He was accompanied by Mrs. Isitt, and they left for the south last evening.

Dr. James E, Russell, retiring dean of thd Teachers' College, Columbia University College, New York, arrived from Vancouver by the Niagara yesterday. Dr. TRussell who is one of the leading educationists in the United 'States, is visiting New Zealand in connection with the Carnegie endowment, and he will investigate the education systems of Australia and New Zealand.
