COAL CONFERENCE.
PARTIES IN AUSTRALIA. (Received February 24, 12.5 a.m.) A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Feb. 23. A conference is proceeding between the Australian coal-mino owners and the miners. The object is to endeavour to reach a mutual agreement with a view to improving the conditions in the coal industry and recapturing the lost coal trade.
