TERRITORIAL CAMPS.

Sir, —As convener of the Social Problems Committee of the Associated Churches of Christ I was very greatly pleased on visiting the camp at Ngaruawahia to see the Y.M.C.A. making such splendid efforts to cope with the needs of a thousand young fellows in camp. If the compulsory military training scheme is to be continued, the very least the churches , can do is to see that the full number of chaplains are sent into camp and that ample arrangements are made for social relaxation aft3r the day's strenuous work. It is through the agency of the Y.M.C.A.: that the churches can help to supply these things. H. Grinsteab.
