In tho course of two years absence from the Dominion, he attended the World's Press Congress in Geneva as Now Zealand's representative, and was elected president of the congress. Reid, general manager of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, with headquarters in London, left Auckland by the Aorangi last evening for Sydney.
