WEDDINGS.
A wedding of considerable interest was celebrated at Paihia, Bay v of Islands, on Thursday, January 26, when Alius Dorothy Greening, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Greening, of Baildon, Bradford, England, was married to Ronald Henry, third ison of Mr. and Mrs. Henry S. Ludbrook, of Tupetupo, Ohaeawai, Bay of Islands. His Grace Archbishop Averill conducted the service. The bride, who entered thechurch on the arm of Admiral Sir James Fergusson, wore a frock of beige georgette lace, with hat to match. The bridesmaid, Miss Jocelyn Miller, worn a pretty frock of palest pink chiffon, finished with hydrangea blue, embroidered with pink, and posies to match. Mr. John Ludbrook acted as best man.
A very pretty wedding was tiolemnised last evening at the Holy Trinity Church, Devonport, when Miss Hazel Wight, elder daughter of Mrs. C. F. Wight, of Manahei, Cheltenham, was married to Mr. N. Stephenson, of North Sydney. The Rev. Jasper Calder officiated. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. Bernard Wight, wore a gown of ivory georgette over palest pink ninon, with a front panel and hem heavily embossud in silver. The beautifully embroidered veil was caught to the head with a coronet of pearls and orange blossoms, enc; she carried a sheaf of white flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss Ina Wight, woro a dainty frock of blush rose georgette, sequinned in largo silver and coral roses. The bandeau was of pink georgette and diamento trimming, and sne carried a bouquet of shaded pink dahlias. Mr. Stanley Millington, of Wellington, carried out the duties of best, man.
