Vicloria, in which th» former team had made 533 runs in their first innings, and Victoria had made 422, was resumed to-day. New South Wales in the.second innings declared a?, the overnight score of 353 for eight wickets. Blackie took six wickets for 101. Victoria'in their second'innings made 205 for one wicket (Woodfull 81 not out, Rigg 110 not out). New South Wales won by 111 runs on the first innings. Tho weather was fine and the wickat good. Kipnax's action in not closing tho innings last night aroused a good deal of adverse comment. Ponsford was out to a catch in tfce slips by Gregory when he had made two. It is considered to be the finest flip catch ever seen on the ground. \ The bat),men went for the bowling land runs came freely. In the latter stages the game became farcical, eight bowlers being tried before time was played out.
