Matthews Bros., ifho maintained the flocks at a very high K«vel by importing from the leading Southern studs the best rains available. The Romney flock was founded with Mackinnon ewes of Perry-Short blood, and since then the rams used have been mostly of the noted Waiorongom&i, Penrose and' Parorangi blood. The Bolder Leicester flock wiia established with picked Arkwright sheep and aw the prices obtained each year at the fairs indicate, the flock has been maintained at a very high la-rel. The Aberdeen Angus Cattle are all from well-known H&wke's Bay herds and represent the best strains of blood in the conn try. Mr. Westlake is subdividing his property into daily farms, and the stock will be removed to the Frankton Saleyarda for the convenience of buyers. .
