TO-DAY'S WEATHER. HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST. The following weather forecast for 24 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied to us by Mr. PI. M. Vincent last evening:— Fair and warm weather is indicated, although cloudy to overcast at times, with a scattered and light rainfall, particularly in central areas of the North Island, in parts of the Auckland Province, and along the east coast of the North Island. A few isolated thunder-showers are expected in the Waikato, but the general outlook favours fair weather predominating. Variable and moderate breezes, and land and sea breezes, northerly'to north-east-erly prevailing by day, giving place to southerly to south-easterlies in the evenings. Seas smooth to moderate. Barometric pressure has undergone little change, but, owing to tropica) influences combining with the prevailing, high pressure system, there is a good prospect of a scattered rainfall, as mentioned above.
