CHARGE OF LOITERING.
ARREST MADE ON RACE DAY. Arrested by a detective in Devonport on Monday, the second day of the Takapuna races, Robert Francis Bennett, a middle-aged man, appeared in the Police Court yesterday charged with loitering in Wairoa Road, Devonport, for the purposes of betting. Accused was remanded on bail to appear on Friday.
