HORSE'S LUCKY KICK.
SOLDIER'S SIGHT RESTORED. REMARKABLE OCCURRENCE. Owing to the depression of a piece of 'bone Mr R. Long, of Bridgetown, Westurn Australia, has for some time been ■without the use of his left eye. He is an ex-Imperial soldier, and while grooming his hOi-sft recently he received a nevere kick, which rendered him unconscious. When Mr, Long recovered consciousness, and after, receiving treatment, he found that the kick had tieen on* of thei luckiest avents of bill life, for it hud frrad tiie bone which wais pressing on his eye and causing blindness.
