ROTORUA HIGH SCHOOL.
OFFICIAL OPENING DATE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN' CORRESFONOENT-l ROTOKUA, Tuesday. Tho Rotorua High School Board met last evening, Mr. R. B. Nesbitt presiding. Tho chairman reported that Mr. F. F. Iloekly, M.P., hud arranged with him that February 9 bo tho date of the official opening, this being a convenient date for thp Hon. R. Wright, Minister of Education. Tho action of tho chairman was approved. Tho chairman also reported that during tho holidays the applications received for tho additional teacher had been examined and that two names had been recommended for final decision by the board. A sub-committee was appointed' with power to act. Tho following were appointed a subcommittee to make arrangements for the official opening: The chairman, Dr. Bertram, tho secretary and Mrs. F. Davidson.
