THE GOLD AND SILVER STARS.
In every competition, we have had for boys and girls, there have been competitors who, although they have not succeeded in winning a prize, have done good and patient work time after, time. I think these good "triers" deserve some special encouragement, so have decided upon something which will henceforth take the place of the Jumble Roll. Gold and silver stars wili be awarded from time to time to members of our Herald Circles who are doing good work in the competitions, who will be presented with special "Star" cards. When a certain number of stars have been received the card will be returned to the editor of "Boys and Girls," and a special prize will be awarded. There will be small gold stars for boys, silver stars for girls, and I am sure you will be delighted, with them if you are lucky enough to win a card. Further particulars later on. Remember, the "Gold and Silver Star" list i 3 open only to members of our Circles.
