SWIMMING.
WAITEMATA CLUB'S CARNIVAL
The Wait&mata Amateur Swimming Club will hold its second carnival of the season at the Tepid Baths next Tuesday evening. An attractive programme of swimming and diving events has been arranged. The 500 yds. ladies' inter-club relay championship should result in an exciting contest between the Waitemata and Grammar teams. Other events include the 220 yds. club handicap, 66 2-3 yds. ladies' handicap, and the first distance of 100 yds. for the junior* club championship.
