BITTEN BY A SNAKE.
WOMAN CHARMER RECOVERS. Lone Star, a grey-haired woman, dressed as a cowboy, was bitten by a tiger snake, which coiled itself round her arm while she was giving a demonstration at Mordialloc, Victoria, recently. Lone Star's companion, Tomahawk Joe, informed the show manager what had happened, and the tent was cleared, while she was treated. She wai» then taken to a hospital, but two hours later she reappeared at the snake charmer's show. She was able to take her place again in the performance.
