In his 90th year, Mr. John Moore, a native of L-eland, which possibly explains his exuberance of spirit, left Sydney a week or two ago for Broken Hill, where he booked a passage for Adelaide by, aeroplane. It was as a youth that old John Moore came to Australia and worked at Tolarno station, on the Darling Rives'. He was there when Burke and Wills went through on their way north. He can take hi* mind back to" the hectic days when fortunes were made, figuratively, overnight in the boom days of Broken Hill.
