ADDLEPATE WINS AGAIN, [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] HASTINGS, Monday. Glorious weather prevailed for the second day of the Hawke's Bay meeting and there wa3 a large attendance. The totalisator handled £19,989, against £14,590 on the second day last year, making the total for the meeting £34,752. compared with £32,183 last year. After the New Year Handicap the stewards held an inquiry into Butterscotch's running. The finding was that in the opinion of the committee there was an unaccountable reversal of form between the running of Butterscotch on Saturday in the President's Handicap, and her running today, but there was not sufficient evidence to place any responsibility on the owner, J. Griffith. Results are:—
