TAURANGA NOTES.
NEW COASTAL SERVICE.
[BV TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAURANGA, Friday.
Several of Auckland's yachts and launches which competed at tho local regatta have left on the return trip. The others expect to sail to-night and tomorrow. The visiting yachtsmen were entertained last evening by tho natives at Hairini settlement.
The auxiliary schooner Margaret W. arrived here this morning from Ly tie] ton, via Gisborne, with about 100 tons of Southern produce for Tauranga and To Puke. She is due to sail this evenftig for Thames and Auckland. This is the vessel's first trip on the regular service to bo made every two months between South Island and Tauranga and Thames.
