AN AT HOME.
The Vict'*ia League held an enjoyable At Home yesterday afternoon, when a number of members of the Victoria League from other centres were guests of honour. The rooms were artistically decorated with beautiful flowers, and afternoon • tea was served. The president, Miss J. Mowbray, expressed a cordial welcome to the visitors, and wished all present the compliments of the season. A welcome was also extended to members of the league who had recently returned from England. The guests of honour included Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. McCarthy Reid, Mrs. Godfrey, Mrs. Greenwood, Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Eliot Davis, Mrs. Lloyd and Miss Chard.
