NUCULA FOR AUCKLAND. The Admiralty oil tanker Nucula. which has been loadina bulk oil at San Pedro, sailed for Auckland on Wednesday. The vessel is due about January 21. THE MANCHESTER MERCHANT. The steamer Manchester Merchant, en route from New York to New Zealand ports, arrived at Colon on Wednesday. The vessel's first port i 3 Auckland and she is due on January 16. DEWEY LEFT VANCOUVER. After loading at Vancouver, the American steamer Dewey sailed on Wednesday for Han Francisco ancl will complete her cargo there. The vessel is to sail finally on January 7. Henderson and Macfarlane. Limited, are the local agents. TAINUI AT COLON. The New Zealand Shipping Company's passenger steamer Tainui, which left Southampton for Wellington on December 10. arrived at Colon on Wednesday. The Union Company's Island steumei Tofua. which arrived froir th_< Islands of the Western Pacific last Tuesday, is to sail ,at 11 o'clock to-morrow morniiy; for Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa.

MESOPOTAMIA WITH PHOSPHATES. The steamer Mesopotamia arrived at Auckland last evening and anchored in the stream. After inspection this morning she ■will berth at King's Wharf to commence discharge of a full cargo of phosphates front Makatea Island. After discharge the vessel •will go into dry dock. KEKSTEN MILES ON MONDAY. The local agents. Henderson and Mucfnrlane, Limitsd, have received advice that the German steamer Kersten Miles, expects to arrive at Auckland from Port Arthur, Texas, on Monday. Her cargo of case oil will bo discharged here and at Wellington. Rockhampton and Tovrasville. NIAGARA ON MONDAY. The Royal Mail liner Niagara is expected to arrive at Suva this morning. en route from Vancouver to Auckland. The vessel i». expected to resume her voyage at noon today and to arrive at Auckland on Mondamorning. Her departure for Sydney is announced for 10 o'clock on Tuesday evening. MARAMA FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company's intercolonial passenger steamer Marama is expected to leave Hvdney for Auckland at three o'clock this ffternoon, and is due here next Tuesday. She will sail on her return trip next Friday. ULIMAROA SAILS AT 11 A.M. With passengers, mails and a quantity of ceneral cargo for Australia, the HuddartParker steamer UUmaroa, which is at Prince's Wharf, Is to sail for Sydney at 11 o'clock this morning. The vessel is due at Sydney on Tuesday. MATAKANA SAILS TO-MORROW. The Shaw, Savill and Albion , Line's *1 earner Mittakana was hindered m her cargo operations by yesterday s rain, and ■will not have for Gisborne. Napier and Wellington until to-morrow morning Wellington is to be the vessel s final port, and on January 12 she will - leave for London and West Coast porta of tho United Kingdom.

THE SURREY LOADING. . 10 Federal Line's steamer Surrey, which is loading at Prince's Wharf for London, will sail for Napier to continue loading on Saturday, January 7. Her final port will be Wellington, which is to be cleared on January 21. PASSAT DUE TO-DAY. Robert Mijlar and Company, Limited, report that the steamer Passat is due from Australian ports with cargo from Texas today. The vessel hai3 not yet reported the time of arrival. THE HUNTINGDON SAILED. The Federal Line's steamer Huntingdon, after discharging the local consignment of ker general cargo from West Coast porta of the United Kinpdom, sailed yesterday morning for Wellington, where she will continue discharge. RIMUTAKA TO LOAD. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rimutaka is due at Auckland from Southern ports on February 1 to load for London. She will sail finally from Auckland on February 2. KAMO DELAYED BY RAIN. The departure of the Union Company's steamer Kamo for Southern ports was delayed by yesterday's rain, and the vessel is announced to leave Auckland at noon today for Lytteltou, Dunedin and Bluff. RUAHINE DUE TO-DAY. .The local office of the New ZeaSand Shipping Company has received advice that the steamer Ruahine is due to arrive at Wellington at 11 o'clock this morning. She ia from London and Southampton. Auckland passengers will probably arrive by train tomorrow. KUROW FROM NEWCASTLE. The Union Company's steamer Kurow was expected to leave Newcastle last evening with coal and general cargo for Auckland. The vessel is due here early next week. KARTIGI SAILS TO-DAY. The Union Company's steamer Karfigi is to sail at five o'clock this evening for Wellington and Greymouth. She is to load at Greymouth on Tuesday, and will complete at Westport for Napier and Auckland. CYDONIA FROM MONTREAL. In the New. Zealand _ Shipping Company's Eastern Canaaian service, the steamer Cydonia is due at Auckland from Montreal on January 14. The vessel left Panama on December 17. Her other discharging ports are Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, Sydney and Melbourne. IK ALA TO SAIL. Undtir charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company, the steamer Ikala. in the Eastern Canadian service, is to sail from St.. John. New Brunswick, about January 14 for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton.
