INTOXICATED DRIVER.
SEAMAN SENT TO PRISON.
" BORROWED" CAR DAMAGED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Thursday. William Luddonna, a seaman, aged 39, was sentenced to a month's imprisonment in the Police Court to-day on a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-car. On a further charge of converting a car, valued at £725, the property of W. F. Donnelly, to his own use, he was ordered to make good <ho damage, amounting to £2O, caused by the running of the car into the wall of Mr. Donnelly's backyard.
