CHRISTIAN CONTENTION.

THE SESSION AT CAMBRIDGE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CAMBRIDGE, Thursday. The fourth annual united Christian Convention is being held here this week, and the session will conclude on Sunday evening. The fixture is considered to be the most successful yet held, the registrations numbering 125, compared with 100 last year. The convention is presided over by the Rf>v. Evan R. Harries, of St. James' Presbyterian Church, Auckland. Visiting lady members are accommodated in the District High School and male members in St. Paul's Methodist school room. Meals are served in thrj supper room of the Town Hall, and most of the meetings are bein{i iheld in the Peace Memorial Hail. Among visitors to speak at the missionary rally will bo a Japanese minister, the Rev. Juji Nakada, of the Oriental Missionary Society, and Miss MaeLean, representing the Chinese Inland Mission.
