FROCKS AT ELLERSLIE.

FASHIONS ON THE LAWN.

TAILORED ENSEMBLE SUITS. The weather yesterday, from a sartorial point of view, was most unsatisfactory, for the second day of the Auckland Racing Club's Summer Meeting, held at Ellerslie. An oppressive heat with an overcast sky which threatened rain made the choice of clothes a difficult problem, and as there were several showers in the middle pf the day those who wore a light-weight coat or an ensemble suit of silk, were perhaps the wisest.
