WEDDINGS.

St. Andrew's Church, Symonds Street, was the scene of a pretty wedding yesterday after-noon, when Miss Mercedes Martha Mason, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Mason, of Torehape, Hauraki Plains, was married to Mr. Ole Aasen. The Rev. J. Lamb Harvey officiated at the ceremony. The bride, who was given away .".y her father, wore a frock of ficelle tinted georgette, simply fashioned, with a gathered skirt. Her tulle veil was caught round the head with a spray of orange blossom, she carried a shower bouquet of white carnations and sweet peas. Miss Gladys Corcoran acted as bridesmaid, wearing a frock .of honeycoloured crepe de chine with a scalloped hem of cornflower blue. Her crinoline hat was lemon-shaded and trimmed with ribbon to tone, and she carried a beautiful bouquet of autumn-tinted flowers. Mr. John Thompson attended the bridegroom as best man. The marriage was celebrated in St. Matthew's Church yesterday .morning of Miss Beatrice Isobel CJapstick, second daughter of Mrs. H. Watkinson, of Buckland', and of the late Mr. J. Capstick, formerly of High Bentham ? England, to Mr. Cyril Murdoch Greenslade, eldest son of Mr. E. Greenslade, Mayor of Northcote, and Mrs. Greenslade. Canon Grant Cowen officiated. The bride, who was given away by Mr. Watkinson, wore a frock of white georgette over satin, with a frilled skirt. A sash of georgette was swathed round . the waist, and a spray of orange blossom on the shoulder held in place long satin bands which fell to the waist. Her embroidered Jtulle veil was finished with a chaplet of orange blossom and she carried a shower bouquet of white sweet peas and Christmas lihesMiss Eva Capstick and Miss Rene Capstick, sisters of the bride, acted as bridesmaids, wearing frocks, of peryenche blue and primrose taffeta respectively. Fine silk lace covered tihe taffeta skirts, and a large bow of tulle on the shoulder with long streamers completed the trimming. Both bridesmaids "wore hats of crinoline straw turned up back and front, and carried bouquets of pink and blue sweet peas. Mr. R. Greenslade, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and Mr. Frank Ryan, of Northcote, was groomsman.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of white crepe de chine with a tiered skirt accordeon-pleated, and above each tier was a line ol dainty embroidery worked in silver. Her tulle veil fell over a graceful train of shell-pink satin which was suspended from the shoulders, and the veil was finished with an ornamental head-dress of pearls and orange blossom. She carried a_ bouquet of white sweet peas and pale pink carnations. Miss Minnie Packer arid Miss Bessie Rapton acted as bridesmaids, the former wearing a frock of japonica pink crepe de chine with cream lace edging, and the latter a frock of hydrangea blue crepe de chine with small sleeves* of silver lace. Both wore head-dresses of finely pleated tulle and ribbon, and carried bouquets of carnations and • sweet peas. Little THllie Baisley acted as flower girl, wearing a frock of buttercup crepe de chine with ruched ribbon on the skirt. She carried a small posy of pastel-shaded flowers. Master Douglas Boss acted as train-bearer, wearing a white silk suit and blue tie. Mr. Gr. Binnie carried out the duties of best man.
